Meet the Farmers

“You aren’t wealthy until you have something money can’t buy.”

We are David and Nneka Williams and we own Sunset Market Gardens, a 12-acre farm with 1/2 acre of intensely planted gardens, established in 2016. I have a passion for family, horticulture, food, cooking, fitness, and health.  I am also the pastor of our church which convenes in our home.  I have worked in the horticulture industry for 33 years. Sunset Landscape & Design, our landscape business, was established in 1998 and ended in 2023, and focused on personal gardening and maintaining formal landscape gardens.  My attention to detail and striving for perfection had been the basis of my business foundation.  Nneka homeschools our 4 children.  She is the manager and helpmate that keeps our home flowing.  Nneka has a passion for family, art, dance and organization.  We are the parents of two amazing young men Logan and Gavin, our daughter, Falynne, and Kieran our baby boy. We grow an assortment of sustainably-grown produce using natural methods.  The same attention to detail that was used in our horticulture business is now solely poured out on our market gardens.  Sunset Market Gardens’ mission is to grow and provide the most nutritious food, while continuing to build a biologically rich, alive soil.  We want our farm to be as beautiful as it is productive, sharing our passion for gardening and healthy food.
